Sometime last month, Jack and I spotted a beautiful white-nosed fox squirrel at the farm, and since then, we've been on the lookout for him. He was quite striking and we'd both like to catch him with our cameras, but neither of us had one handy when we saw the squirrel.
Jack went by to check on things when Mom and Dad were in Franklin a couple of weeks ago, and while he didn't spot the lovely squirrel, he did capture these images of a pair of Scarlet Tanagers, who apparently nested in one of the cedar trees between the house and the graveyard at the end of the driveway.
Jack loves getting great shots of birds, and these certainly are. Aren't they gorgeous?
