Sunflowers

Inspired by the strong spirit of the Ukrainian people and friends planting sunflowers, I ordered seeds for four different varieties from Baker Creek Seed Company. Jack and I planted seeds on May 21st, and by late July, magnificent sunflowers were giving us a show.

Friend Matt visited the garden, and Mom helped us send him home with a bouquet.
