That last post - my goodness!! December 2017. Lucia Turns 9. As they say, "It's been a minute."

I haven't changed the top wallpaper and logo since this time two stinkin' years ago.

Before clicking on the button to write a new post, I had to re-familiarize myself with the what's-what and yeah-ok of the functions. No, it's not rocket science, but like I said, it's been a minute. Like next month when time "falls back" and we make the choice to either get accustomed to minus-one clock math in the car or dig out the owners manual.

There's no way to possibly write an adequate update or catch-up, so I'll not even try, because thinking about how such thing would even begin is the biggest part of the barrier between me and regularly writing things here again.

Big credit for getting me back into paragraph mode goes to a Facebook friend I've never met but who inspired me. Like me, Doug started a blog years and years ago then fell off the writing radar. Today, he shared a Facebook post about returning to his WordPress presence, and after reading a number of his posts about pets, food, family, living in nature, observations on modern life, the importance of grace, and assorted examples everyday loveliness, I felt inspired to make another run at my own journey with pets, food, family, living, observations on modern life, the importance of grace, and assorted examples of everyday loveliness.
